2020 Mazda6 Prescott AZ

2020 Mazda6 Exterior Front Fascia

Although utility vehicles seem to be dominating the marketplace today, there are still plenty of fantastic sedans and other cars out there on the market. For instance, the 2020 Mazda6 is an excellent option in the midsize sedan segment. Its sophisticated style and incredible content throughout make it a great choice for any type of driver.

The Mazda6 was first introduced to the lineup back in 2002, meaning its now nearly two decades old! That doesn’t mean it hasn’t seen its fair share of updates and enhancements through the years. It entered its second generation in 2009 and then its third in 2014. The third generation is still going strong, though the model did just receive a facelift two years ago for the 2018 model year.

Specs & Features of the 2020 Mazda6

Having recently been made over in 2018, there wasn’t much of a need for new things this year. However, there were a couple of subtle enhancements. The Signature trim level now has its own badge on the trunk to set it apart from other grades, while the key fob for the entire lineup is new as well. Beyond those two new things, the rest of the Mazda6 is every bit as exciting as it always has been. It’s packed full of great technologies and features that will make sure every trip behind the wheel is an exciting one.

For instance, the Mazda6 comes with the full lineup of i-ACTIVSENSE® technologies standard. That includes features like Mazda Radar Cruise Control (featuring stop and go function), Advanced Smart City Brake Support with Pedestrian Detection, Smart Brake Support with Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning with Lane-Keep Assist and Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

When it comes to specifications, the Mazda6 is just as impressive. With two different engine options to choose from – either a 2.5L that’s capable of generating 187 horsepower alongside 186 pound-feet of torque or a 2.5L turbocharged engine that can push things up to 227 HP – or 250 HP with 93 octane gasoline.
