2019 Mazda6 engine options
As we said above, starting in 2018, the Mazda6 began coming with a second engine option, something that drivers everywhere had craved for a long time. The base engine is still a potent one. The Sport and Touring trims feature a 187-horsepower, SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve inline four-cylinder engine with VVT and Cylinder Deactivation. Those who do want that extra boost will need to opt for the Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, or Signature trims. These models all come standard with 250-horsepower SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter Dynamic Pressure Turbo DOHC 16-valve I-4 engine with VVT. Other standard features include LED lighting, lane-keep assist, rear cross traffic alert, smart brake support with collision warning, and MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment.
